UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY INVITES PUBLIC COMMENT ON THE
PROPOSED PLAN FOR THE CURTIS SPECIALTY PAPERS SUPERFUND SITE
BOROUGH OF MILFORD AND ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announces the opening of a 30-day comment period on
the preferred plan to address contaminated groundwater at the Curtis Specialty Papers Superfund site,
located in the Borough of Milford and Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The
preferred remedy and other alternatives considered are identified in the Proposed Plan.
The comment period ends on June 29, 2015. As part of the public comment period, EPA will hold a
public meeting on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 7 pm at the Milford Firehouse, 21 Water Street, Milford,
N.J. The Proposed Plan is available electronically at the following address:http://www.epa.gov/region02/superfund/npl/curtisspecialtypapers /
